With the help of their teachers from Chalosse agricultural college in Mugron, these four students, in the 2nd year of their BTS [advanced vocational training certificate] in agriculture (development and management of rural areas), have created the first Village Landais Alzheimer volunteer newspaper from start to finish.

Subsequent issues will cover the progress of the village up to completion of the works, information on the disease, presentations of the parties involved, etc. The newspaper, in the form of a folded A3 sheet, is aimed mainly at volunteers who have asked to be kept up to date on the progress of the project.

It is expected to be published twice a year or quarterly. The idea is for volunteers to join the editorial board and to involve young people suffering from the disease.
